Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Operations Manager to oversee our logistics and transportation operations in Ibadan.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and trucks, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods, and optimizing operational processes to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of drivers and trucks
- Coordinate and plan routes, schedules, and deliveries
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Monitor and optimize operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, and labor
- Implement and enforce safety and security protocols
- Manage and maintain a fleet of trucks and vehicles
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
- Analyze and report on operational performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or transportation
- Proven track record of success in managing teams and operations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Experience with fleet management software and technologies
Nice to Have:
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management
- Experience with route optimization software
- Knowledge of ERP systems
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
