Job Title: HR / Legal Officer

Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions and managing the employment process.
  • Conducting legal analysis and researching legal matters.
  • Providing advice on legal matters.
  • Drafting legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing documents.
  • Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business.
  • Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company.
  • Investigate employee issues and conflict and brings them to resolution.
  • Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Staying up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect your business and specific industry.
  • Oversee lawsuit, possibly acting as chief litigator.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience as HR / Legal Officer in a property company will be an added advantage.
  • Must have been called to bar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary ranges from N1,800,000 – N2,400,000 per annum
  • Access to Local and International Training.
  • Driving skills will be an added advantage.
