Job Summary
- The role holder will drive strategic sales efforts, generate significant revenue, and expand our Aftermarket Products business segment. With a proven track record of efficiently aligning supply and demand in auto parts businesses, automotive industries, or marketplace startups across Nigeria and/or Africa.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong client network for potential sales and client conversion. This dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Professional will lead our sales efforts in the aftermarket products space, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex negotiations, cultivate strong business relationships, and close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market presence in the aftermarket products sector.
- Lead and manage the sales team, setting performance targets and providing ongoing support and mentorship.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality aftermarket products at competitive prices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sales and business development is essential.
- Experience in the automotive industry is critical. Additional experience in aftermarket product sales, procurement, or automotive aftersales is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to cultivate and maintain relationships with importers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive sales growth and increase market penetration.
- Experience in implementing and managing efficient sales processes, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Demonstrated success in a senior sales role, with tangible experience in expanding and cultivating existing partnerships over time.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and business priorities.
- Comprehensive understanding of the automotive aftermarket industry, including trends, regulations, and customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills in financial planning, operations, and reporting.
- Entrepreneurial experience or experience supporting startups or working in a startup environment is beneficial.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement.
Salary Range
N850,000 – N1,500,000 / Month (Net) + Benefits
