Title: General Manager, Corporate and Public Sector Business

Description
- The role will cover origination (customer acquisition) and execution (oversight of service delivery with respect to fulfilment of logistics orders) for corporate, public-sector, and other institutional customers.
- Identify and translate new business opportunities into active customer relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Continuously evaluate and improve marketing strategies based on customer feedback and market research.
- Outline, manage client requirements and expectations on logistics aspect of client procurements.
- Deploy modern technology solutions to maintain/manage client requirements.
- Work with clients to understand their service needs for logistics handling and tailor the company’s marketing initiatives accordingly.
- Deploy available human, technology, and knowledge resources to build new partnerships and deliver results to institutional customers.
- Facilitate and manage the process of new market-entry and customer acquisition with institutional client.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Higher qualifications or a certification in logistics will be an added advantage.
- Be aged between 28 and 40 years with a minimum of 7 years of cognate business development experience.
- He/ she should have a minimum of 3 years of operating experience in customer-facing roles with a track record of successful customer acquisition and business growth.
- Be numerate, analytical, proactive, and driven to accomplish business results across markets and client segments.
- Have an established professional network to facilitate collaboration, initiate partnerships, to enhance the company’s market presence in new segments.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and lead team members.
- Proficient with analytical tools and demonstrate the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Be aware of industry trends and competitor activities in relevant markets.
- Banking & Insurance Experience preferred
