Program Objectives
- To provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience in each field for all interns.
- To enhance interns’ technical skills and industry knowledge in their respective fields.
- Develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.
- Expose interns to real-world business challenges and opportunities, enabling them to develop practical solutions.
- Create opportunities for interns to network with industry professionals, peers, and leaders within the company.
- Help interns clearly understand potential career paths in their chosen field.
Structure of the program
- The structure of the program provides a balanced combination of learning, practical experience, and professional development, offering interns a comprehensive and engaging experience across various fields
- Interns are introduced to e86 Limited company culture, values, policies, and procedures. This includes an overview of the program, essential training on company systems, tools, and industry practices relevant to each field, and what to expect during the internship.
- Interns will be paired with Team heads/ Supervisors within each department for guidance and support throughout their internship.
- Regular check-ins and performance reviews will be conducted Monthly and biannually respectively to provide feedback and evaluate interns’ progress during the internship.
Qualifications
- Education: A HND or B.Sc. degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Certification in Product Management courses is an added advantage.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a Product Management Role is beneficial but not mandatory for this internship position.
Skills:
- Understanding of the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, including planning, development, and optimization.
- Ability to conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Skills in developing and maintaining product roadmaps that align with business objectives.
- Proficiency in managing product development projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Strong communication skills for presenting product strategies, plans, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Capacity to gather and analyze customer feedback and insights to inform product development and improvement.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions for product challenges.
- Ability to develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Understanding of market positioning and differentiation strategies for the product.
Internship Plan
- Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive orientation program to introduce interns to the company culture, policies, and expectations.
- Training sessions relevant to each field including tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Give interns meaningful projects that allow them to apply their knowledge and skills.
- Establish regular check-ins and feedback sessions to monitor progress and address concerns.
- Conduct quarterly reviews to evaluate interns’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
Plan for Completion and Transition:
- Interviews will be conducted to gather feedback and insights for future improvements.
- Explore options for retaining successful interns into full-time roles.
- Build a pipeline of skilled candidates who understand the company culture and values.
