Job Title: Credit Review Officer

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Loan modification at the Credit Regional Manager Level
  • Liaising with Portfolio Managers to follow up on Loan Request
  • Assessing the creditworthiness of Businesses or BRM applying for Credit
  • Analyzing Financial data, Credit reports, Registration with Corporate Affairs and any other information to make informed decisions.
  • Identifying potential Risks and recommending ways to mitigate them
  • Reviewing Existing Credit accounts to ensure Compliance with terms
  • Conducting background checks and verifying information provided in credit application
  • Communicating Credit decisions to the Portfolio Manager to follow up on
  • Create Loan Agreements for Large Loans through the Legal team
  • Providing recommendations for Credit Approval or Rejection
  • Perform all other functions as may be assigned by a supervisor

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis
  • A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage
  • Outstanding verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
