Job Title: Credit Review Officer
Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Roles & Responsibilities
- Loan modification at the Credit Regional Manager Level
- Liaising with Portfolio Managers to follow up on Loan Request
- Assessing the creditworthiness of Businesses or BRM applying for Credit
- Analyzing Financial data, Credit reports, Registration with Corporate Affairs and any other information to make informed decisions.
- Identifying potential Risks and recommending ways to mitigate them
- Reviewing Existing Credit accounts to ensure Compliance with terms
- Conducting background checks and verifying information provided in credit application
- Communicating Credit decisions to the Portfolio Manager to follow up on
- Create Loan Agreements for Large Loans through the Legal team
- Providing recommendations for Credit Approval or Rejection
- Perform all other functions as may be assigned by a supervisor
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis
- A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage
- Outstanding verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
