In addition, our prolific manpower cuts across the 36 states in Nigeria. Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures in performing day-to-day transactions processing.
  • Adherence to policies and procedures in the organization.
  • Review the integrity, reasonableness and completeness of the data elements in the Finance system – SAGE Evolution, and consequently ensure completeness and accuracy of the set-up accounts and data.
  • Ensure up to date payments for – PAYE, VAT, Corporate Tax, NSITF, WHT, etc.
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial reports for management decision making.
  • Liaise effectively with external Auditors to ensure that efficient audit process is carried out and all other regulators.
  • Ensure that Company assets and inventory are safe guarded.
  • Ensure financial processes are continuously improved, appropriate, efficient and result driven.
  • Ensure that financial/accounting risk inherent in the business are promptly identified and are appropriately controlled.
  • Conduct regular meetings with finance function staff to evaluate result and performance, review on – going issues, and devise strategies for corrective action.
  • Motivate all staff of the finance function and assist in work related issues.
  • Ensure adequate custody and control over Company’s assets.
  • Ensure the Company maintains a favourable receivable position (timely and accurate billing of customers and aggressive follow up, overdue cash advances to staff are promptly recovered).

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc / HND in Accounting
  • Professional Qualification: ACA /ICAN
  • Work Experience: 5 – 7 years post graduate experience.

Salary

  • N500,000 month.
