Job Objectives

  • They are seeking a skilled and experienced Blistering Operator to join their production team.
  • This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of drug products in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

  • Execute Batch Record and logbook documentation with detail and accuracy.
  • Perform procedures for cleaning pharmaceutical production equipment and facilities.
  • Operate pharmaceutical production machinery and execute manufacturing procedures such as dispensing, mixing, coating, encapsulating, granulating, drying, milling, blending, compressing, syrup manufacturing, and similar tasks.
  • Perform total changeovers and identify corrective actions for processing-related issues.
  • Maintain production reporting for assigned work unit operations.
  • Perform required in-process product quality checks and document accurately.
  • Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner according to established procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and assist in on-the-job training of production trainees and operators.
  • May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and provide assistance to support personnel.
  • Communicate issues effectively to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all cGMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates, and quality requirements.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating pharmaceutical machinery.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify corrective actions for processing issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in training others.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to adhere to safety and compliance regulations.

Salary
N130,000 monthly
