Job Title: Accountant / Admin Officer

Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting and Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills for clerical duties, manage procurement processes, and ensure efficient financial operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Administrative Duties:

  • Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory; reorder as needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.

Procurement Duties:

  • Oversee the procurement process, includingobtaining quotesand negotiating contracts.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
