Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

  • As an electrician at Yardoak project, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and machinery within the facility.
  • Your role will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in the company.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure reliability and longevity.
  • Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and address electrical issues affecting production schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new electrical equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in electrical maintenance to continuously improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
  • Proven experience working as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably in the furniture industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N70,000 – N100,000 / month.
