Job Title: Wealth Manager, Institutional Sales Business Development

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a wealth Manager to be responsible for offering official advice and services that will assist clients in their financial endeavours.
  • The responsibilities of wealth manager include providing financial advice to high net-wealth client, Conduct financial planning, investment management, and assist in preserving and generating wealth for clients.
  • To be successful as a wealth manager, you should have the ability to explain complex information, be confident, and have good sales and negotiation skils.
  • Ultimately, a top-notch wealth manager should have superior knowledge of wealth management, good presentation skills, and an understanding of customer relations tactics.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the onboarding of new individual and institutional clients,
  • Drive the maintenance, nurturing and retention of existing clients.
  • Drive deal origination across group entity products.
  • Conduct needs analysis and risk profiling for all clients prior to onboarding them.
  • Advising clients on financial products and services.
  • Buying and selling g investment securities on behalf of the client.
  • Managing investments.
  • Conducting planning services.
  • Efficiently maintain clients record. Minimum rework and absence of error reports, analysis and presentation.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements. Nil penalties and loss of income due to regulatory infractions.
  • Competition watch: Provide monthly report on competitor’s offering with recommendation.
  • Contribute toward the development of new products and /or areas of product improvement.
  • Drive the execution of both the corporate strategic and initiatives.
  • Customer satisfaction ratings at 100.

Requirements

  • First (BA/BSc) in numerate discipline.
  • Second degree (MBA or MA/MSc).
  • Professional qualifications in relevance field I.e CIMA, CFA, CIS, ICAN, CIBN.
  • 3-4 years experience in a Merchant/Investment/Commercial Bank.

Comptency and Skill requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the international/local financial markets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial products.
  • Good product development and portfolio management capabilities.
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Mutual Funds Operations, Investment Management and Fund Administration.
  • Strong strategic orientation. Excellent customer relationship development/management.
  • Good analysis skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skill.
  • Knowledge of local and international investment operations.
  • Strong quantatative and qualitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal/relation management skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnership/alliances with the Nigerian Asset Management industry.

Salary
N480,000 – N600,000 / Month
