Job Description

  • We are seeking a seasoned and competent Marketing and Communications Manager who will provide marketing support to the sales teams.
  • The successful candidate will also manage our online and offline communication with clients and increase brand awareness.
  • To succeed in this role, you need top-notch communication, interpersonal, and as well as hands-on experience in identifying and building long-term relationships with target audiences. Ultimately, you will act as our brand’s voice to impress our customers and attract new clients.

Key Area of Responsibilities

  • Represent the company and promote its image
  • Guarantee the enforcement of Compliance rules in our business practices
  • Apply Group strategy, rules and policies
  • Marketing and Communication Manager will have to work in close collaboration with Group Communication and Digital Teams in order to make sure communication and digital activities are deployed according to Group guidelines.
  • Roll out the marketing strategy across the area and locally, in accordance with Group strategy.
  • Define the offer outline and organise the launching of product & service ranges in the area.
  • Take part in strategic project steering committees in a specialist capacity.
  • Define and consolidate market tracking indicators.
  • Perform competitor analysis, measure market size, and comparisons in terms of products, prices and dead lines.
  • Determine pricing strategy in terms of product/price positioning in relation to market segments and competitors. (Detect business opportunities. Manage reporting to Country management).
  • Conduct marketing studies and ensure permanent benchmarking.
  • Manage Country’s Product & Service Offer (Detect new product or service opportunities. Manage new offers deployment. Adapt existing offers. Monitor and report products & services performances).
  • Define and roll out the MarCom plan, especially on Digital (MS, website, newsletters, etc.)
  • Identify new product requirements by gathering, analysing and consolidating country/customer demand.
  • Analyse customer dissatisfactions and needs with regard to existing products.
  • Take part in drafting Marketing specifications and Establish annual selling price scales.
  • Ensure monthly updating of annual sales forecasts and act as interface for logistics.
  • Draft and distribute product information across the area.
  • Participate in the Sales actions plans and budget processes for the sectors under his/her responsibility.

Person Specification / Qualifications / Requirements

  • B.Sc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
  • 4+ years experience in experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role
  • Unmatched interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Resilience and persistence.
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Solid Knowledge of website analytics tools e.g SEO and Google Analytics
  • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
  • Great multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Highly creative with exoerience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate with the aim of driving traffic and increasing brandawareness and sales in the long run.

Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 monthly
