Job Summary

  • The HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets, expand market reach, and ensure customer satisfaction within the health maintenance organization sector.
  • This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the daily activities of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Sales Strategy Development and Implementation:
  •  Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals.
  •  Identify market trends and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies.
  •  Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to refine sales strategies.

Team Management:

  •  Recruit, train, and mentor a high performing sales team.
  •  Set sales targets and objectives for the team.
  •  Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
  •  Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment.

Customer Relationship Management:

  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  •  Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  •  Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer data and sales pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or HMO industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HMO products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
