Job Title: Lead PHP Engineer
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users
- Develop REST API for dashboard and mobile application (for partners and clients)
- Create integration with third-party systems via API and SDK
- Use code coverage with unit and integration tests
- Deploy to production via Jenkins
- Participate in the discussion of tasks and projects
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with team members and assist in education and training junior developers
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with PHP (version 8.1+ is good to have), MySQL and Git
- Previous experience mentoring and leading technical teams
- 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of OOP, strong knowledge of basic programming patterns, PHP-FIG PSR standards and Composer
- Strong skills in Linux
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful web APIs
- Experience in writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- English language level Intermediate +
- Being a fast learner, open to changes, and having a customer-centric attitude and Agile mindset
