After deep focus on developing our core tech stack, Polymer is now on testnet and headed towards mainnet. We are looking for someone who is deeply in tune with web3, creative, ambitious, organized, and has experience with and is passionate about building a community.

Responsibilities

  • You will engage the community directly, serving as a bridge between the core team and the community. Your primary directives are cultivating good vibes, quality memes, and lots of fun.
  • You’ll create and shepherd the strategy for community growth, including structuring programs for community contributions and creating processes for recognizing positive contributions.
  • You’ll lead the organization and coordination of online community events such as community calls, twitter spaces, AMAs, and contests.
  • You’ll track community growth and manage KPIs to inform growth strategy. You’ll work alongside the Product and Marketing teams to create a consistent brand & voice for Polymer.
  • This role is on the critical path of growth and adoption of the Polymer protocol, and will ultimately have a massive impact on helping establish the fundamental infrastructure rails for web3.

Qualifications

  • You’re crypto-native – deeply immersed in web3 culture, and aware of the prevailing personalities, memes, and major narratives and projects.
  • You’ve built and managed the community for a crypto / web3 project with clear KPIs.
  • You have extensive experience with Discord and TwitterYou have experience managing stakeholders and setting clear guidelines and expectations.
  • You exhibit Polymer values: Perseverance, ownership, legacy, always asking why.
  • You are highly curious and enjoy learning about the ins and outs of the Polymer architecture.
  • Strong written English communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for Polymer’s mission of connecting the world using IBC.
