Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Coordinator with a background in the feed mill industry to join our sales team. The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales activities, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of feed mill operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team in managing customer inquiries, orders, and sales transactions for feed mill products.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels using CRM software or other systems.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track sales activities and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional campaigns to increase market share and meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
  • Provide sales support and training to internal staff and external partners on product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the company, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments related to the feed mill industry, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Stay informed about new products, technologies, and innovations in the feed mill industry, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales coordination or customer service roles within the feed mill industry, with a thorough understanding of feed mill operations and products.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and strategies, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools for managing customer relationships and sales data.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve common goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements and customer needs, with a customer-centric approach to sales and service.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 per month
