Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in setting up and managing sales departments, achieving sales targets, and driving business growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, leading and mentoring the sales team, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. Vast experience in B2B sales management.
  • Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and target potential customers to expand the company’s market presence.

Sales Department Setup and Management:

  • Establish and structure a high-performing sales department, including defining roles, responsibilities, and sales processes.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and enforce sales policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Sales Performance and Targets:

  • Set ambitious sales targets and develop action plans to achieve and exceed them.
  • Monitor sales performance through KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to ensure team alignment and motivation.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Handle high-profile customer accounts and negotiate terms to close significant deals.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations based on market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive strategies and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 9+ years in a sales management role with a focus on setting up sales departments and achieving targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
