Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Position Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Shift Supervisor.
- The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations during their assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining quality standards, and leading the team to achieve performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Shift Operations: Direct and oversee all activities during assigned shifts, including opening or closing procedures, ensuring adherence to operational standards, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards.
- Training and Development: Train new team members on restaurant procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support staff development.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests have a positive experience by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively. Monitor service quality and take corrective actions as needed.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and managing product rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Cash Handling: Oversee cash register operations, including handling cash transactions, processing payments, and balancing cash drawers at the end of the shift.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety guidelines, sanitation standards, and health regulations. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, management, and other departments to relay information, coordinate activities, and ensure smooth operations.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Perform opening and closing duties as required, including preparing equipment and supplies, conducting pre-shift meetings, and securing the premises at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
